Neighborhood revitalization
At Nehemiah Project CDC, we aim to build stronger communities by providing affordable and sustainable housing solutions for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. While our long-term goal is to develop homeownership opportunities, we have already rehabilitated five rental properties to ensure affordable housing for families in need.
Our Neighborhood Revitalization Program focuses on the following key areas:
Home Rehabilitation Program:
Senior Home Repairs: Providing no-cost home rehabilitation services to help seniors age in place safely and comfortably.
Veterans & Disabled Homeowners: Offering free home repairs for veterans and individuals with disabilities in greater Atlanta to ensure they live in safe, well-maintained homes.
Affordable Rental Properties: We have successfully rehabilitated five rental properties to provide safe, affordable housing for low-income families.
For-Sale Housing Products (future development):
First-Time Homebuyer Opportunities: Developing single-family and multi-family homes for first-time buyers to support affordable homeownership.
Mixed-Income and Mixed-Use Developments: Creating inclusive communities that combine residential, commercial, and retail spaces to foster economic growth and diversity.
By combining home rehabilitation services with future housing developments, we are committed to creating safe, stable, and inclusive communities for all residents.
