Senior Home Repair Program
The Senior Home Repair Program provides free home repairs to ensure the safety and well-being of seniors, veterans, and disabled homeowners in Greater Atlanta. As part of Nehemiah Project CDC’s broader Neighborhood Revitalization Program, this initiative helps create stable and sustainable communities through the following key efforts:
Major and Minor Home Repairs:
Safety Improvements: Repairs such as fixing roofs, electrical systems, and plumbing to improve safety and accessibility in the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Accessibility Modifications: Installing grab bars, wheelchair ramps, and other features to ensure homes are accessible for elderly and disabled residents.
Broader Neighborhood Revitalization Efforts:
Affordable Housing Solutions: In addition to home repairs, we aim to develop affordable, for-sale housing, including single and multi-family homes for first-time homebuyers.
Mixed-Income and Mixed-Use Developments: Our goal is to create vibrant, inclusive communities that blend residential spaces with commercial and retail opportunities.
Through these programs, Nehemiah Project CDC is dedicated to strengthening communities by offering sustainable housing solutions and supporting vulnerable populations.
