What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. This year, it happens on December 3, 2024. That’s TODAY!

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

In 2024, Nehemiah Project CDC:

  • Completed 160 Plumbing Repairs and water conservation Upgrades

  • Completed 14 minor safety repairs with Fulton County CSP program

  • Completed CDBG program for 30 major senior home repairs

This is the kind of life-changing work we do at Nehemiah. Through our partnerships with the City of Atlanta Dept. of Watershed Management and with the help of generous donors like you, we will continue to help our seniors stay safe so they can "age in place." Important home repairs are the cornerstone of long-term community development.

If you have yet to decide on an organization to support for this year's Giving Tuesday, we invite you to consider partnering with Nehemiah Project CDC.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will echo in the lives of those we serve.
