To become a model for community revitalization, our team is focusing on sustainable and inclusive development for affordable housing, economic development, and healthy communities. For the years 2024 to 2027, we are striving to expand our reach and impact in our flagship programs.
Neighborhood Revitalization
Objective
Enhance affordable housing, home ownership and living conditions for low-moderate income families, seniors, veterans and disabled citizens across metro Atlanta
Action Plan
Acquire and/or rehab 20-25 affordable housing units for sale & rental by 2027
Provide repairs for 150+ low-income seniors, veterans and/or disabled residents per year
Increase our partnerships and skilled volunteer pool by 25%
Economic Development
Objective
Create economic opportunities by actively developing the skills of the local workforce and supporting the needs of small businesses
Action Plan
Provide workforce training to 50+ low-income community members every year
Host financial literacy workshops every quarter
Launch a small business incubator to equip owners to scale and increase capacity
Healthy Communities
Objective
Empower families to lead healthier lives by providing health and housing services, education, and resources that address social barriers to health equity.
Action Plan
Increase community outreach program to provide health awareness and educational resources
Collaborate with local health and wellness providers to host yearly “Healthy Living Fair”
Expand “Healthy Homes” initiative by creating viable partnerships to reach and address community needs by 50%
Organizational Development
Objective
Build organizational capacity and secure diverse funding
Action Plan
Hire Development Director and grant writer by 2025 to increase our fundraising anddonation amounts by 25%
Hire consultant to lead Housing Development projects “Senoia Point” and “Oak Street Cottages” by May 2025
Host annual board retreat and increase staff professional development
